Exterior Painting Procedure

We follow proper procedures to ensure your safety as well as our own!

Cleaning:

• Pressure washing is available upon request by the client (Recommended).
• Delicate areas will be hand washed.
• Paint chips and other debris are scraped and/or washed away.
• Washed areas are given the recommended amount of time to dry.

Pre-Paint Preparation:

• All loose paint is removed and any bare wood shown will be spot primed.
• All surfaces not being painted are covered to protect against paint splatter.
• Exterior furniture is moved and/or covered whenever necessary.
• Glossy areas are sanded properly to guarantee adhesion.
• Windows and doors are caulked if requested.

Painting:

• Areas being painted will ALWAYS be painted until 100% coverage is unveiled.
• The colour selected will be applied with the combination of a brush, roller and/or sprayer.
• 2nd and 3rd coats will be done if requested by the client and specified in the contract.

Clean-up:

• Clean up will be enforced daily and upon completion.
• All waste materials will be bagged and taken away courtesy of Platinum Pro Painters.
• Extra paint will be bottled and labelled for extra convenience for our clients.
• Furniture will be put back to their original position as they were prior to painting.

Inspection:

• Before our employees gather their equipment, a thorough walk through will be done.
• The client will do a walk through with the manager to ensure 100% satisfaction.
• All touch-ups are to be fixed right away to the satisfaction of the client.
• Post it notes are given to each client whom they can use to mark any imperfections or places that require additional touch ups.  Platinum Pro Painters will be back within 24 hours to fix it, GUARANTEED.
• All colors selected by the client are kept on file for life, courtesy of Platinum Pro Painters!!
